Gifted Winter Program (Gr. 6-10)- Dec 18-30

The Gifted Winter Program is our third residential program in calendar year 2022 and is in collaboration with Ei-ASSET Talent Search (Ei- ATS) . The Gifted Summer Program in May 2022 with nearly 100 students was at the MAHE Manipal campus and the June 2022 program was at Shiv Nadar University near Delhi.

The short film below tries to capture the magic of the Gifted Summer Program in May 2022- do listen to what the students and parents had to say! We look forward to a similar experience this upcoming December…

The Gifted Winter Program is from Dec 18-30, 2021 and is jointly hosted by Vidyashilp University and the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence in Bengaluru for children currently in Grades 6-10. Students will reside at India’s most modern sportsplex, the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence (CSE). Classes will be held at the brand new facilities of Vidyashilp University.

The program is exclusively for gifted students who are Gold/ Silver/ Bronze Scholars on Ei-ASSET Talent Search (Ei- ATS). If you do not have an ATS score, but are interested in the program, please contact us with your ASSET scores. If you haven’t taken ASSET recently, you can take it here.

Students will arrive at CSE in Bengaluru, India on December 18th by noon and will leave on December 30th after 2:00pm. There will be an open house and convocation ceremony on Friday, December 30th in the first half, which parents are invited to attend.

Top-notch schools from around the country such as Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Oberoi International, Sri Kumarans, TISB, PSBB, Greenwood High, Inventure Academy, Sanskriti Gurukul, KC High, Modern High, etc. continue to feature in our participant list, year on year.

Our Residential Programs are immersive experiences- much more than just the academic enrichment component that the module list under each track represents. Please review The Nature of Activities in GenWise Programs, where we discuss ‘hands-on work and play’ and ‘socio-emotional learning’, in addition to ‘academic enrichment’. To get a flavour of how students are impacted by these programs, read GenWise co-founder, Vishnu Agnihotri’s post in a previous edition of this newsletter titled ‘The Magic of Residential Programs for Children’.
