The 'academic' component of the EE Program covers multiple pillars of the GenWise Curriculum. These curricular elements will be covered over 2 weeks (4-5 hrs/ day), as follows:
-
Week 1: Mathematics, Science, Design and Technology (STEM Focus)
-
Week 2: Nature, Society &Individual; Tools for Thinking & Communication (Humanities Focus)
Please click on each week to know (MUCH) more...
While children are free to pick either week, we strongly recommend a balanced exposure to the content over both weeks.

For Students
Middle and High School students are our primary audience.
We have conducted a range of programs - both Residential and Online - over the past few years. Some of these are listed on this page.
Our Founders played leadership roles in the very first Residential Programs offered by Duke University, and Educational Initiatives in India.
We strongly encourage you to visit this link, which shares images from our diverse programs, which hopefully convey what our participants experience!

GenWise Summer School 2018
Our very first Summer Program with around 40 students. Early Explorer category for children entering Grades 5, 6 and 7; Explorer category for children entering Grades 8, 9, and 10.
We ran 6 exciting and diverse courses - ranging from Leadership & Diplomacy to Understanding Light. Here's a link to the full list of courses for Explorers, and brief introductory videos by the Instructors. 2 out of our 6 faculty were Professors from US Universities.
Below is a snapshot from our Convocation Ceremony!

GenWise Summer School 2019
We had an expanded participation, in a lush green setting, with nearly 70 students participating. The courses were new; but the model was similar to that in 2018 (Explorer, Early Explorer, etc.)
Below is a group pic from 2019.

Auroville Immersion Programs
We took a batch of kids in Grades 6 and 7 from a Chennai IB School (KC High), to experience an alternate community model that is Auroville. Since then, we have taken a batch of 40 students (Grades 11 and 12) from JBCN International School, Mumbai, and a batch of 25 students (Grades 7 and 8) from Ascend International, Mumbai.
Unfortunately, Covid put paid to all of our outbound/ residential programs; we are looking to restart these at the earliest!

TAISI GenWise Summer Program 2019
Open to students from participating member schools of The Association of International Schools in India (TAISI), we ran this summer program on the Bangalore International School campus, with accommodation provided at a nearby location.
Courses included Systems Thinking, Building Automatons, among others.

Summer Program for Gifted, Underprivileged Children
With generous sponsorship from Pravaha Foundation, GenWise ran a Summer Program for 30+ students in Grades 8, 9, and 10 at IIIT, Hyderabad.
This was a 2-week long program and the joy on the faces of the participating students was immensely satisfying!
