This hands-on  workshop will explore the Concept of Colour through questions and discussions, and a variety of practical activities, including Science Experiments and DIY activities.

Topics that will be addressed include:

• What gives Colour

• How do we see / perceive colour ( Colour is not absolute )

• Colours in Nature

• Natural Dyes & Synthetic Colours

• Additive Colours  and Subtractive Colours ( Light Sources & Pigments )

• Where is the colour ( Object / Light / Eye)

Sample Activities include:

• Colour Mixing using Spinning Tops

• Make your own paints from Nature

• Fabric Dying with flowers, seeds and roots
