The 'academic' component of the EE Program covers multiple pillars of the GenWise Curriculum. These curricular elements will be covered over 2 weeks (4-5 hrs/ day), as follows:

High School Internships in Science
All are invited. What is the learning for high school students when they intern in Research Institutions or Think tanks or NGOs? Apart from the certificate, what can this experience mean and what can it not? What are the alternatives? Are there other meaningful ways to explore science at that stage

In the adda we will hear about this from Sandhya Koushika, a senior neuroscientist at TIFR, who feels strongly about this being a relevant part of the young Scientist’s journey.
In conversation with her will be Radha Gopalan, GenWise mentor, who has counselled, mentored and worked with high school students through internships.
