About the event

What exactly is going on with a teenager and why is it such an emotional drain to parent them? How does one communicate effectively with a teenage child? How does one yank them out of a self-obsessed or blasé or defeated world view? Get them to feel hopeful and responsible and engaged? Carve their life ahead purposefully? How can a parent best deal with (undesirable) peer influence? Media and Social networking?  Sexual exploration? Smoking? Drugs? Alcohol?

In short, how does one drive through the storm and get to the other side of teenage with both parent and child intact?

In this course, Dr Shukla will highlight practical skills that can be used by parents everyday, in real life - no philosophy, no fluff, no lecturing, no cliches - only practical knowledge and skills.
