About the event

Open to Grades 7-8; Eligibility Criteria Apply

This course is open to students by invitation of the Gifted India Network, only. This is a single-day CTD Encounters at Home course  that meets live online from 07:30am - 11:00am Central Time on Saturday,  12/18/21 (7:00pm - 10:30pm India Standard Time).

How do forensic scientists use blood to solve crimes? How are math  and physics applied to a crime scene investigation? Both in the  laboratory as well as at a crime scene, blood analysis provides  important evidence in forensic examination. In this hands-on workshop,  interactive demonstrations and activities allow students to observe some  of the ways forensic scientists analyze blood during investigations.  At-home experimentation and measurement provide students with an  insider's view of the job performed by bloodstain pattern analysts.
