GenWise Summer Program 2027

Our residential program brings gifted students together with mentors who work in the fields they teach — courses that go well past what a classroom can cover, and a peer group that finally matches them. 9–29 May at MAHE Manipal, 13 June–3 July at MAHE Bengaluru.

Gifted Lab — for families

Weekly mentor-led enrichment in Science and Mathematics for gifted students in Grades 5–8, running through the year. Small groups, chosen so your child works with peers at their own pace rather than waiting for the room.

A structured way for a school to nurture its advanced students, with your own teachers trained alongside as facilitators so the capability stays in the school after we leave.

Tomorrow Makers — with the Godrej Foundation

A national programme that finds bright students from underserved backgrounds and gives them weekly STEM mentoring — Science, Mathematics and computational thinking, from Grade 6 on. Free for every student.

Insider Circle

The year-round membership for GSP alumni families — two live sessions a month, the Catalyst Series with experts and professors, and Career Conversations with the camp's TAs and residential coordinators. Membership also holds your seat at the next summer program.

Your child's safety is our top priority. We enforce strict safety protocols — no child is ever alone, dormitories are impeccably maintained, and our residential campus meets the highest standards of comfort and security.

Our work in gifted education

Nearly two decades of it, in India

Gifted education in India has a short institutional history. GenWise's team has been in it since the beginning — first inside Duke's program, then building the replacement for it.

2008–2015

Duke TIP in India

Duke TIP ran gifted summer programs in India, using the Ei ASSET Talent Search above-level test to identify students for the program.

2016–2017

Ei ASSET Summer Program

When Duke TIP exited India, Shrikant Patil and Vishnu Agnihotri launched a replacement. Northwestern CTD, ATDP Berkeley and Purdue GER2I recognised the test as an entry point to their own programs.

2017–2021

GenWise is founded

Shrikant Patil, Vishnu Agnihotri and Rajesh Panchanathan founded GenWise to work with gifted students year-round, not only over a summer.

2021 onwards

Gifted World

Ei, GenWise and Northwestern CTD came together to form a community for gifted students, parents and educators. GenWise carries the work in India.
